The Culinary Trainer will deliver core training to team members and BurgerFi managers to provide them with skills necessary to properly operate a BurgerFi restaurant. The Culinary Trainer will conduct training in local South Florida Restaurants as well as BurgerFi restaurants around the country. The Culinary Trainer will directly perform hands-on operational work to train new employees, execute new training initiatives, or to otherwise role model appropriate skills and behaviors in the restaurant. This position demands an outgoing and dynamic personality as well as management and leadership potential.  Focal points for the Culinary Trainer include ensuring that targets in hospitality, operational execution, food safety, and quality control are met. This high-profile, forward-facing, and fast-paced position demands a blend of professional acumen, organization, teaching skills, and creativity.
 
Job Responsibilities include:
  • Function as a brand ambassador for New Restaurant Openings. Serve as a subject matter expert for the development and execution of training content.
  • Execute BurgerFi highest standards of hospitality and operational execution
  • Proactively train and execute programs to assure achievement of corporate goals and standards
  • Coach and provide ongoing training for restaurant teams and managers

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of one (1) year of high-volume restaurant and kitchen experience
  • QSR or fast-casual dining experience is preferred
  • Restaurant Management experience a plus
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as a sense of urgency
  • Candidate must be passionate about, and thrive on, the training and development of teams
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Must have the ability to travel for up to 14 days at a time, position requires extensive travel, up to 50% of the time
